The Middle Child

I just watched two great videos. One talks about your personality and the other video talks about how important it is to have a bond with your sibling. I liked both videos because I thought it was good to know these things and be reminded about it. The personality video made me think about how important it is so focus on how you present yourself to others. I agree that most outgoing people have a different body language than most quieter people. It is interesting to know that some people can figure out a persons "personality" through their body language. People even study body language, I didn't know it would be so important to know that. I think a person could change their personality, but not very easily. I think it takes time, because your personality is a habit and sometimes it's not so easy to break a habit. What I really loved about in the personality video was when the woman said "fake it until you become it". Fake it. I never thought about that. Fake the person you want to become and sooner or later you will be that person. I think it's a great idea because it gives you hope and a sense of what it is like to be the person you want to become.
 Moving on to the video about siblings, it really caught my attention the entire video. I have four brothers and I am the only girl and I am the middle child, most people think I get spoiled but that's not the case. You would think because I am the only girl I would receive more attention than my brothers, but sometimes it is like I am invisible in the house. It was funny when the man in the video described it as the middle child raising their hand on the dinner table while the rest of the children talk. I also agree with this man about the middle child trying to work harder than the rest of the siblings. I think I work harder than the rest of my brothers in school, and my family would agree because I am the smartest in the family. I can see how these two videos go together because what has definitely shaped my personality is my family (specifically my four brothers).
I liked the reading about the extroverts and introverts. It was kind of funny because a lot of people get the wrong idea about others, when really it is simple.

I chose these words because I am kind to others and love to explore. I wish to explore the wold someday. I feel I am mature in the classroom because I like to take my work seriously and I tend to not fool around in class or act disrespectful. I feel I am kind in the classroom because I treat people with respect.
